Are you ready to experience Duluth in a new way? Then it’s time to get on board the historic and all volunteer Duluth River Train. With views of the St Louis River estuary and Spirit Mountain, our 2 hour out-and-back excursion has been the best way to see the estuary since 1980. Seeing the fall colors from the train should be on your bucket-list!

We are a 100% volunteer run railroad that has for the last 45 years given people the chance to experience the charm and history of the St Louis River Estuary.
Our 2-hour round-trip excursion departs at 10:30 and 1:30 on Saturdays and Sundays until mid-October.
